Support
Yumemira help and support: A little help.
Answers for Yumemira on iPhone, with iOS 18 or later. New here? See how Yumemira works. The app has short answers too, in Settings › Help and contact. Still stuck? Write to us.
Getting started
What do I do each day?
Open Today. Your step for the day is at the top. Tap Start to begin it, or Mark done when you have done it. Mira cheers, and you can tap Write a line to say how it went, with a face for how it felt.
What is the busy-day step?
On a busy day, tap Busy day? on Today for a smaller step. It counts in full: the day still counts as a day shown up.
How do days shown up work?
A day counts when you do your step or write a note. The count never goes down. A rest day covers a missed day, and a new one comes each Monday. With no rest day left, Today offers to mend the missed day with one small step, once every 30 days.
Goals
Which goals can I pick?
26 goals are ready, such as water, reading, saving, sleep, breathing, meditation and walking, or you can make your own. Each goal counts its own way: glasses, pages, minutes, money or simply done.
Can I use my own amounts, units and currency?
Yes. Every amount has a Custom option. Water counts in glasses, ml, litres or fl oz, and distance in km or miles. Money goals use any currency, written the way your iPhone writes it.
How do I change my step or my goal?
Open the goal from Goals, open its menu and tap Edit goal. Your notes and days shown up stay as they are.
How do I pause or finish a goal?
In the same menu, tap Pause goal (for 1 week, 2 weeks or with no end date) or Finish goal. A paused goal asks for nothing and breaks nothing.
How many goals can I have on Free?
Free has one goal at a time. Paused and finished goals do not count. Pause or finish your goal to start another, or keep more than one with Pro.
Sessions
What happens when I tap Start?
The goal’s own session opens: a breathing guide, a meditation timer with bells, a glass that fills for water, a focus timer for reading or study, or Doing it now for steps like saving money.
Why can I not hear the bells?
Yumemira follows the silent switch: when your iPhone is on silent, the app is silent too. Check the volume, then Settings › Sound and vibration in the app, where you can turn on Sounds or turn off Follow the silent switch.
Does the timer stop if I leave the app?
Meditation and focus timers keep counting when you leave the app, and the time left shows on your Lock Screen. A breathing session pauses when you leave, because it needs you there.
My step is not on the Lock Screen
Live Activities must be on for Yumemira. Open the iPhone’s Settings app, tap Yumemira and turn on Live Activities. Then tap Start on a step again. If iOS does not allow it, the app says so on the step’s screen.
Lock Screen and widgets
How do I add a widget?
Home Screen: touch and hold an empty spot until the apps jiggle, tap Edit, then Add Widget, search for Yumemira and pick a size. Lock Screen: touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customize, choose the Lock Screen, then tap the widget area and pick Yumemira.
Which widgets are there?
Small and medium widgets show today’s steps with Start, +1 or Done. There are Lock Screen widgets and a water widget with +1 glass. With Pro, the large widget shows three goals and your week; on Free it works with one goal.
Can I keep my words off the Lock Screen?
Yes. In the app, open Settings › Privacy and lock and turn on Hide text in notifications and widgets. It also hides the words of a step in progress on the Lock Screen.
Journal and Notes
How do I write in my journal?
Tap Write a line after a step, or open Journal any time. Add a face for how you felt, up to 6 photos, or say it out loud. Voice notes are turned into words on your iPhone; if your language cannot be done on the iPhone, you can type instead.
What are Notes?
Switch Journal to Notes for lists, plans and ideas. Notes can hold checklists, #tags, photos, files and recordings.
Formatting tips
Start a line with “- ” for a list, “[] ” for a checkbox or “# ” for a heading. Type # and a word, such as #ideas, to add a tag. Return continues a list; Return on an empty item ends it. The bar above the keyboard has the same choices.
I deleted something by mistake
Deleted notes and goals wait in Recently deleted for 30 days. Open it and tap Put back. After 30 days they clear by themselves.
Backups and a new iPhone
How do I keep a copy of my journal?
In the app, open Settings › Backup and tap Save a backup. It holds your journal (notes, goals, photos and progress) and your Notes with their files. Keep it in Files, iCloud Drive or on a computer, somewhere private. The app reminds you now and then; you can turn that off on the same page.
How do I move to a new iPhone?
Save a backup on the old iPhone. On the new iPhone, open Settings › Backup and tap Add from a backup. Adding a backup keeps what is already there.
Does my iPhone’s iCloud Backup include Yumemira?
Yes. When iCloud Backup is on for your iPhone, it includes your journal and notes, and restoring the whole iPhone brings them back. There is no sync between devices today.
Can I export my journal as text?
Yes, for free. Settings › Export data makes a plain text file or a backup file on your iPhone, and you choose where it goes.
Text size, sounds and vibration
How do I change the text size?
Open Settings › Text size. The app follows your iPhone’s text size until you turn off Use iPhone text size; then drag the slider to one of 6 sizes. Widgets and the Lock Screen keep your iPhone’s own text size.
How do I turn sounds or vibration off?
Open Settings › Sound and vibration. Sounds covers every sound the app makes, Vibrations covers every tap you feel, and Follow the silent switch keeps the app quiet when your iPhone is on silent.
Reminders do not arrive
Reminders are off until you turn them on. Check that notifications for Yumemira are on in the iPhone’s Settings app, then look at Settings › Reminders in the app: the time, the days and quiet hours. A Focus on your iPhone can also hold notifications back.
Yumemira Pro
How do I start the free trial?
In the app, open Settings › Yumemira Pro and tap See Pro, then choose monthly or yearly. Pro is $2.99 a month or $29.99 a year, after a 7-day free trial. Prices in US dollars; the App Store shows the price in your country before you pay, and you can cancel any time in your Apple subscriptions. Nothing is charged when the trial starts.
Will you remind me before I pay?
Yes, when notifications are on for Yumemira: we remind you two days before the first payment. If notifications are off, the app says so and asks you to turn them on.
How do I cancel or change my plan?
In the app, Settings › Manage subscription opens your Apple subscriptions. You can also open the iPhone’s Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancel at least a day before Pro renews. Pro stays on until the end of the time you paid for, and you keep all your goals and notes after that. Deleting the app, or Delete all data, does not cancel Pro.
I paid, but Pro is not on
Open Settings › Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy Pro. This also brings Pro back on a new iPhone.
Can I get a refund?
Apple handles payments and refunds for the App Store. Ask for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot refund App Store purchases ourselves.
Talk to us
Email hello@yumemira.com, or use the contact form. Tell us what happened and your app version, which is at the bottom of Settings. In the app, Settings › Help and contact › Send a note about a problem adds your app and iOS versions for you, never your notes. Please do not send private journal entries unless you choose to share them for help.
